The US Small Business Administration (SBA) has established the 8(a) certification for the purpose of assisting small businesses that are classified as historically distadvantaged to do business with federal government agencies.

This program allows these small businesses to compete with their larger counterparts.  This allows certified business to receive sole source contracts and to form joint ventures to bid on contracts.

Roughly 23% of federal contracts are site aside to these 8(a) certified businesses.

Teaming with Ajanta on a Federal Contract can give you a leg up and an advantage over your competitors and can give you access to certain contracts that you might not have had.
